A business partner in Africa owns a 2.4m "C" band antenna that he utilizes for VOIP and Internet services. About a week ago, Wimax was introduced in the City where he lives. Indeed, the Wimax base station is about 1km away from his location. He has since been experiencing interference - scpc errors. Anyone with some ideas and a possible solution?
Thanks,

We are back to proudly say that we have concluded a new round of IO tests with WiMAX ARBA500 - series BS. These BS work at FCC and ETSI ISM bands (5.4GHz and 5.8GHz), and we have tested them against three different CPE vendors with high success.
We have performed again quite massive IOtests with >30 clients per sector on 5.XGHz bands.

The newly announced changes to the 3G auction Policy and the WiMAX spectrum auctions now contains elements of recognition that WiMAX is not simply a way to extend wireless but an entirely viable and complete technology in itself. The recognition of the importance of WiMAX to be able to operate as an independent network providing voice, video and data services came in the form of doubling of the minimum reserve price for WiMAX auctions from Rs. 50.5 Billion ( $1.2Billion) to Rs 100.10 Billion (…

Entered on behalf of Elkana Ben-Sinai, CEO of Comsys Mobile
It’s great being back from my summer vacation and meeting up with everyone again.
As some of our Comsys employees will recall, when returning from my last summer vacation I shared my views on the benefits of the Mobile Internet and the “always connected” service (Subject: “receiving e-mail while hiking in the Tirol Mountains or boating on the Danube river..…”). My major complaints were the insufficient…
