Last week, I had the pleasure of attending the CTIA Wireless 2010 Conference in Las Vegas. It was an
eventful few days spent attending panels and talking to others in the industry. In this business, I’ve been to my fair share of conferences, and while they’re always insightful, this year’s CTIA Wireless was by far the most exciting.
Our industry is on the brink of real, substantive change and you could feel it among the participants,…

The WSJ reports that Sprint will be announcing its first WiMAX phone this week at the CTIA Wireless Conference in Las Vegas. The Journal article states:
"Sprint now offers 4G in 27 markets, but the service, which costs $60 a month for unlimited data, is largely used by laptop wireless cards. Sprint has fewer than 50,000 4G (mobile WiMAX) customers out of a total 48.1 million wireless subscribers. Chief Executive Dan Hesse has said the key to wider adoption is to roll out phones."…

The release of the HTC Supersonic is about to change the face of wireless communication, in a very good way.
History will be made on the Sprint / Clear, 3G meets 4G network. You can expect AT&T to try and pull a rabbit out of there hat with another iphone release at the same moment as the HTC Supersonic debut.
I for one am very excited for Sprint, and the 4G space, as this should be there moment to shine.
Be aggressive with your marketing…

Hello all,
It seems that LTE is really ahead, this test was made in Norway more then 1 month (of course the location of the test is favorable too), but imagine that this test was a beta modem (Samsung USB dongle by the way), and the test is showing a very "nice" download speed of 17mbit/sec (should be more) but very good upload of almost 5mbit/sec, and the pings... incredible 25ms to 30ms. Frecuency they are using is 2.6ghz and 10mhz BW. Also look how big the USB dongle is…
